The briefing of the station master

The security and safety instructions are communicated in an original way, addressed to the children.

The Brôning

It’s the original creation of the founder: Jean-Paul Austruy. Judge for yourself and forgive him...

During an outing on the railway, we all risk to encounter a weird animal one day: the Brôning. The Brôning has the habit to roam and hide in the tunnels. It’s only by exception that he’s in the open air. And if he moves from one ‘hole’ to the other, this happens only at night. The Brôning has just one mission: beating the mini-dinosaurs which people the centre of the earth. His battle is endless! For this reason he wanders above the ground, unable to find cold places to relax and cool down, in between the fights. He will never attack a human being, but is always in for a joke: he hides in the most obscure places, conceals his burning eyes and as soon as he perceives a little vélorail train, he jumps on it and shows his teeth by a deterrent burst of laughter which echoes for a long time in the vault. And then he disappears quickly, running over the ballast!

Even if his appearance is without any danger, it’s nevertheless impressive!

.....And the monsters of the forest

Every tradition has its own myths and legends. Here, there’s no question of ‘the beast of Gévaudan’ but the buggers, men that are excluded of their village and who roam around to find food. A little allegory in order to advise children not to throw litter on the railway.
